The Orienteering Association of New South Wales Inc. (OANSW) is the body responsible for the administration of the sport of Orienteering in NSW. The OANSW is one of seven State and Territory orienteering associations affiliated with Orienteering Australia, the National body responsible for the organisation and promotion of orienteering throughout Australia.
The OANSW is governed by a Board whose members are elected each year at the Annual General Meeting of the Association. The official rules and regulations for the administration of orienteering in NSW are set out in the Association Manual.
Membership is available by joining one of the fourteen NSW clubs currently affliated with the OANSW. The clubs are based mainly within particular geographical areas of Sydney or regional NSW. There is also a specialised Mountain Bike Orienteering club.
Some general information for new members about orienteering in NSW may be found on the General Information page.
